Markets to visit and eat
In Valencia is fashionable "The Tapeo", which consists of taking a tapa and a beer in one place and then go to another and so on until the hunger is satisfied, I recommend it.
At 62 m from the Central Market is the Tasca Angel, typical Valencian site to take a tapa. Good price and good quality. It is very small so prepare to eat standing up. The sardines and ajo arriero are the stars of the menu. This bar has been open for 70 years, for me it is a mandatory stop if you are in Valencia. Calle Purísima, 1 46001 Valencia.
The Horchatería Daniel, one of the most famous of the city. For more than 30 years Valencians, tourists and even famous people have come to try their delicious horchata and fartons, snack preferred by Valencians.
In the Mercado Colón you can enjoy this traditional horchatería on Street Jorge Juan 19, Valencia.
If you have not ever lived experience of enjoying a snack or tapas a surrounded by the bustle of a market, you should try in the Central Camarena. It is located in the heart of Mercado Central in Valencia, the biggest modernist market of Europe and for which thousands of people pass each day to be enveloped by its smells, sounds, colors and flavors. The hours are from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Valencia has many markets, some of them have even been named among the most beautiful covered markets in Europe, such as the Mercado de Colón and Mercado Central. But not only they stand out for its architecture but also do it for the food and products sold inside.
